Our Story
How We Met
Just after high school, we met at Stella Maris University. Between looking out for her, challenging each other in English & Math class, we became best friends… After a thousand shared moments and quiet similarities, we became college sweethearts. Thirteen years later, we are making it official.
The Proposal
Last year on Valentine’s Day morning, we went for mass. Afterwards, he held my hand, knelt down, and asked me before God to marry him. Moments later, my phone lit up with messages from friends and family, all asking me to say yes to forever with Veldis. I SURE DID! We prayed, asked God for guidance, shared the news with our loved ones… and then went right back to work, because apparently, getting engaged on Valentine’s Day still does not make it a holiday.
